If you have an electric system then the kit comes with a mains powered adaptor to allow the system to run on 15v as required for best results. If you have a solar system then you need 15v to run the intercom but your gate system is running on 24v so it can't be done... BUT I have this tricky little controller that takes the 24v off your control board and converts the voltage down to 15v so you can run the video intercom system perfectly.
