Built to handle the demands of live performance, the SD8 provides the missing link in your signal chain without breaking the budget. At the heart of the SD8 are eight MIDAS-designed mic preamps that can be controlled remotely from your console, alongside eight balanced analogue XLR outputs for connecting to amplifiers and active speakers. The integrated 2-port ULTRANET distribution hub allows direct connection to BEHRINGER P16-M personal monitor mixers without additional hardware.
Two programmable inputs accommodate Hi-Z sources like keyboards and guitars, eliminating the need for separate DI boxes. For larger setups, up to three SD8 units can be cascaded through the built-in AES50 ports when used with X32 systems, providing 24 bidirectional inputs and outputs. The reference-class Cirrus Logic 24-bit converters ensure pristine audio quality while eliminating radio frequency interference and crosstalk.
Complete with rack ears and protective bumpers for both installed and mobile applications, the SD8 includes USB connectivity for easy system updates via PC.
