HEAD has consistently focussed on saving weight. This does not mean that the ski is too soft - on the contrary: performance is improved by reducing unnecessary weight. HEAD uses lightweight Graphene in the tip and tail to achieve optimum weight distribution.

The light but stiff Karuba wood in the core is surrounded by a triaxial carbon fibre, which makes the ski torsionally stiff and stable. The sandwich sidewall construction and the new top sheet round off the KORE 87 package. Sidecut 130 / 87 / 110 radius 16,0m by a length of 177 cm.
