The monitor has a 1024x600 pixel resolution. With the X-Security XS-V2421M-IP-POE indoor monitor an audio and video conversation can be held with a person standing at an outdoor station or between monitors. Two doors can be unlocked from the monitor.

The XS-V2421M-IP-POE can also display the video images of Dahua or ONVIF compatible IP cameras. This IP intercom system can have multiple outdoor stations and indoor monitors. The touch screen monitor has a capacitive (hard glass) screen as is used on modern smartphones.

The monitor has a built-in 8Gb memory. The monitor is surface mounted and has to be connected with a network cable. The indoor station can be powered with 802.3af PoE or 12VDC.

A bracket for the indoor monitor is included. Network cables are not included.
